Your Key Responsibilities
Work closely with clients in insurance sector to understand their fundamental business challenges and bring your experience to enable them to transform their business and solve their most complex problems
Coordinate client workshops, gather and document business & solution requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Support our clients through an end-to-end process to design, agree and deliver their future solution
Define & model solution requirements in different forms including requirement documents, stories, business process diagrams, low-fidelity mock-up, and technical design
Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and the rest of the agile squad
Lead playback sessions and scope/user story walk-throughs to client stakeholders
Analyze and reengineer business processes to implement them on a new insurance platform and digital solutions
Identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of proposed solution into the business
To qualify for the role, you should have
Minimum 3 years experience as a software Business Analyst
Strong understanding of the insurance domain, especially non-Life
Experience performing business analysis within a software development team
Strong experience in understanding business & solution requirements and translating them into technical requirements
Ability to analyse and document complex business processes, user stories and functional requirements
Analytical mind set; critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audience
Ideally you should also have
Prior experience with EIS/Exigen, Guidewire, INSIS or similar core insurance platforms
Certifications such as CCBA, PMP-PBA and/or CPRE
Experience working in agile software development environments
A willingness to travel to meet client needs
Good appreciation of current insurance market technology trends and how these are likely to impact key industry players
Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
