Key job responsibilities• Work within a project team and take responsibility for wireless technology implementation such as WAN, WiFi, BT etc, and wireless system performance optimization.
• Wireless system performance and RF specification definition based on device architect, business model and other predefined functions.
• Design, Simulate, implement, validate and optimize RF circuitry (including schematic and PCB layout) and system performance.
• Meet with vendors and technology suppliers to key components selection and qualification.
• Characterize RF test coverage, system de-sense, and EMI issues to meet requirements
• Perform simulations for RF design and de-sense mitigation
• Take the product through development, compliance testing, operator testing, ramp up and sustaining
• Support radiated manufacturing test and defects in the factory
• Optimize and improve any defect process from design/validation/manufacturing

- Electrical Engineering degree, with hands on experience in designing and debugging RF circuits and wireless system, failure analysis and functional verification.
- Minimum 8 years of technical working experience in high volume electronic design and manufacturing, preferably in Wifi/BT related products or similar consumer electronics supporting high data rates transmission and other wireless technologies such as WAN and Zigbee.
- Familiar with general wireless communications standards such as IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax and 3GPP (for LTE/WCDMA/GSM)
- Capability to develop system and RF performance specification and its relative test requirement and test cases.
- Familiar with wireless system requirements, RF circuitry design considerations, components characteristic, schematic design and layout techniques.
- Familiar with CAD software such as Cadence, Allegro, PADS and simulation tool such as HFSS, CST, ADS.
- Perform simulations for RF design and de-sense mitigation (3D EM and circuit level simulations)
- Characterize and debug de-sense and EMI issues to meet requirements
- Perform multi-radio coexistence mitigation including RF link budget planning and issue debugging
- Familiar with test sets such as Litepoint IQ, Anritsu8870A, Agilent8960, Anritsu8820 or CMW500/270 for RF testing and other instruments such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope and other typical RF accessories.
- English fluent and communication skill is good
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- Knowledge of SI and PI on high speed interface such as HDMI, LVDS/Mipi, USB, PCIE, and power distribution network, etc
- Knowledge of compliance testing for FCC/CE, EMI standards
- Antenna design knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in production control processes, data analysis/interpretation GR&R, Cp/Cpk and correlation analysis.
