We are looking for a PhD student who is willing to do a 4 - 6 months long internship abroad.
What you will be doing:
Support interactions with end-users in academia on GenAI, develop a keen understanding of their goals and needs, support the SA team to define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needs
Identify specific use cases and develop tailored recipes or playbooks to support state-of-the-art research with NVIDIA frameworks (e.g. accelerated data curation pipeline, or accelerated video data loading pipeline, etc.)
Work with the SA team towards massive scaling of AI trainings on HPC clusters, providing end-users example use-cases to follow Interact with end-users in academia and industry,develop a keen understanding of their goals and needs, define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needs
What we need to see:
Pursuing a Ph.D. degree in a STEM related field
2-year work or research experience in High-Performance Computing or Deep Learning
Fluent in English and French both oral and written
Action oriented with strong analytical skills
Self-motivated, independent, ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction
Strong collaboration and social skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers
Experience with DL frameworks, multi-GPU computing, Generative AI
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Passion for accelerated computing
Experience with at least one among Large Language Models (LLM), Multimodal Language Models (MLM), Video Processing, Foundation Models (FM)
Experience with massive dataset preparation and pre-processing
Experience working with supercomputers at scale
Skilled at profiling, analyzing AI training runs
