2 100 € brutto / month + variablebonus

At this role you will be responsible for:

• Performing month-end closing activities in alignment with the closing calendar
• Ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely group reporting in accordance with IFRS group accounting manual on a monthly basis
• Reconciling and reviewing balance sheet accounts, identifying variances or discrepancies, and proposing solutions
• Collaborating closely with operational business units, other departments and service providers
• Providing support to operational business units on accounting closing topics and offering accounting advice in accordance with IFRS group accounting manual, e.g. revenue recognition rules, inventory treatment, provision and accruals recognition, etc.
• Preparing and reporting statistics to local authorities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Participating in quarterly reporting to the CFO
• Preparing statutory financial statements including notes and cash-flow, in accordance with Slovak GAAP on an annual basis
• Serving as the primary contact for auditors
• Engaging in special projects such as M&A transactions, IT implementation, process optimization, accounting process harmonization
• Driving continuous process improvements

Required education, skills and personality requirements:

Required education

• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)
• Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills:

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge:

Double-entry bookkeeping - advanced

Personality requirements and skills:

• Good communication skills
• Team player and problem solving personality
• Critical thinking and analytical mind
• General Ledger, Closing & Reporting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Slovak GAAP knowledge is an advantage
• SAP is an advantage
