Your key responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing IT focused projects across sectors. You will be developing and executing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience in different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking). Having a commercial mindset is key to this role.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Significant management consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
- The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the following IT skillsets:
- IT strategy
- Enterprise architecture
- Infrastructure and cloud architecture
- Cyber and IAM architecture

- Cloud SaaS or PaaS (including Collaboration) strategy and delivery
- Cloud IaaS or Data Center migration planning and execution
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Active Directory services strategy
- IT service management
- Operations Center (e.g., NOC, SOC) or Managed Service Provider
- IT TSA development
- IT finance management
- IT infrastructure management
- IT outsourcing / offshoring
- IT contract management
- IT or Cyber Diligence
- IT synergy identification
- Data governance, separation, and transition
- Integration and Separation Planning
- Experience with and demonstrated success in at least one key business process such as procurement to pay, record to report, order to cash, plan to make, hire to retire.
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired.
- You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Ideally, you will have
- A proven record of excellence in an IT transactions role.
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
