  • Strategic Advisory Services

Your key responsibilities:

As an Associate/Senior Associate (Manager), you will have the opportunity to work and become a leader within our Transaction Real Estate specialty practice. You will have an integral role that involves working closely with other members of the rapidly growing national team to execute a variety of real estate mandates.

  • Act as project lead on a diverse range of real estate mandates, including strategy, valuation and transactions.
  • Valuation of various types of real estate assets and portfolios in support of various types of engagements including core valuation, due-diligence and transactions.
  • Development, review and maintenance of financial models.
  • Development of public and private sector real estate strategies and portfolio plans.
  • Synthesize market information to be used in valuation, appraisals, competitive analysis, industry analysis, negotiation support and various other applications.
  • Compiling, reviewing and analyzing relevant company and industry information, originating from a broad variety of sources (such as financial databases, industry publications,
  • financial statements and public disclosures)
  • Assist in real estate due diligence for buy-side or sell-side transactions.
  • Continuous review of Canadian real estate market trends.
  • Support the team in the preparation of both internal and external presentations.
  • Support the team in business development and marketing initiatives across the country.

We are interested in candidates who have:

  • Associate: 5 years of related work experience.
  • Senior Associate: 7 years of related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably with a focus on real estate and/or finance).
  • Willingness to work towards an AACI designation is an asset.
  • An understanding of the commercial real estate industry in Canada.
  • Understanding of key real estate value drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong computer and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to systematically manage multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines
  • Solid technology skills with robust knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge or interest in real estate processes, operations, and/or asset management
  • Keen interest in working with both public and private sector clients

What we offer you

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $84,000 to $132,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
