Job Description

With your deep expertise in 2D and 3D medical image viewing and awareness of evolving technologies, you'll collaborate with fellow architects to anticipate and meet future product needs through effective architectural solutions.

Your role includes:
  • Collaborating with technical stakeholders to gather requirements and align the visualization strategy with business objectives, ensuring our software architecture roadmaps remain cutting-edge and relevant.

  • Designing and implementing advanced visualization components for medical diagnostics, while ensuring compliance with medical standards like DICOM and ISO 13485 (FDA). You'll also work closely with other architects to ensure smooth platform integration.

  • Managing and refining requirements throughout the product life cycle, both functional and non-functional, while solving complex technical challenges in medical imaging.

  • Providing daily technical guidance to scrum teams, overseeing the development and implementation of robust software architecture, and ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory standards and best practices.

  • Acting as a project architect, working with the Q&R team to enable platform releases and ensure a smooth regulatory approval process.

  • Investing in your own growth by continuously enhancing your skills and mentoring aspiring architects on their career journey.

You're the right fit if you:
  • Hold a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Have 10+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and testing commercial medical imaging software, with at least 3-5 years in a lead software architect role, guiding scrum teams.

  • Have a strong record of collaborating with diverse teams, including developers, clinical experts, quality assurance, regulatory, and marketing teams.

  • Are a problem-solver with excellent decision-making skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges while balancing business and technical priorities.

  • Embrace innovation, staying current with the latest trends in medical imaging and aligning software strategies with business needs.

  • Are highly proficient in C/C++ and/or C#/.NET, with experience using Visual Studio, and have a deep understanding of medical standards like DICOM and FHIR.
