This role is a combination of supply management and business partner responsibilities.

  • In supply management role you would be independently responsible for ensuring correct supply and inventory levels for own agreed product portfolio for Swedish market. This would require systematic monitoring of sales forecasts, inventory levels and production and delivery plans as well as timely communication with own defined planners and sites. Maintaining excellent service levels on product supply and optimizing inventory levels are primary targets in this role. Close monitoring of forecast accuracy is also required.
  • As supply chain business partner, you would be responsible to ensuring smooth and continuously developing collaboration with the local commercial team responsible for Teva’s Innovative Business including proprietary and other branded prescription pharmaceuticals. You would be responsible for monthly meeting with commercial counterparts to review relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI), discuss deviations, root causes and agree corrective actions.
How you’ll spend your day
  • You will be monitoring daily supply availability of own defined product portfolio with a shared excel tool developed for the purpose. You will also share information about availability of your product portfolio by updating the same tool with new information in timely and harmonized manner with the Supply Chain team.
  • You have regular meetings and other contacts with planners at our own production sites and planners responsible for third party contract suppliers. You will also follow-up changes in production plans and delivery schedules. In case of unfavorable changes, you will negotiate with you contacts to improve the supply perspective and to understand the reasons behind the changes. You will educate your contacts on Swedish requirements and market dynamics.
  • You ensure that your product portfolio have accurate planning parameters, forecasts, and safety stock levels in the planning systems – and correct visibility at planner’s side.
  • You are participating different internal meetings with local commercial team to share customer specific availability information and delivery timelines minimum on monthly basis. You will answer product availability inquiries from commercia team and other colleagues.
  • You are participating in internal change management meetings to follow-up relevant change projects. You are responsible for aligning with your supply chain contacts and completing required change management activities on your own product portfolio in timely manner.
  • You will optimize inventory levels for your own defined portfolio by ensuring that deliveries are incoming in correct quantities at correct time. You will also facilitate different activities on excess stock items to avoid scrapping – and you will ensure timely scrapping of expiring goods.
  • You prioritize your activities and create proper sense of urgency according to project status, product classification (ABC) or arising market opportunity.
  • You will arrange monthly meetings with Speciality Business to review Customer Service Level, Forecast Accuracy and Inventory KPIs. You will discuss deviations vs targets, root causes behind and agree corrective actions. You will also document meetings and follow-up agreed actions.
  • You will minimum monthly update sales forecasts for Speciality Business items together with commercial counterparts.
Your experience and qualifications
  • Success in this role requires commercial acumen and systematic and analytic way of working, ability to identify clear priorities and act on those in good pace.
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must - as well as excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams and country boarders.
  • You should also have excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Fluency in English and in Swedish is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems would be helpful (though training would be provided).
  • You have an educational background in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics. You should have commercial acumen and a firm grasp on basic Supply Chain principles and prior experience in a similar role within the pharma, FMCG, or other industries.
