(MSR NYC) is seeking applicants for multiple postdoctoral researcher positions in), both broadly inML, and specifically in the areas ofgenerative AI,modular transfer learning,representation learning for roboticsscience of deep learning,reinforcement learning,core learning theoryand in areas that bridgeML interests with other research areas in the lab.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to pursue your own research agenda while interacting withand contributing to ongoing research projects. We collaborate extensively with groups at other MSR locations and across Microsoft.

Postdoc researchers receive a competitive salary andbenefits, andare eligible for relocation benefits. These positions are for up to two years, starting in July 202, ending no later than June 30, 202.

Required qualifications

• PhD in relevant field (completed or close to completion by the start date).

• Research abilitydemonstratedby two conference or journal publications, book chapters, or equivalent (potentially unpublished) writing samples, requested as part of the application.

Research Sciences IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
