Responsibilities:

As a core member of the UK Corporate Banking team you will:

  • Assist Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination and execution across a range of products

  • Support the growth agenda by helping to identify, target and onboard new UK clients

  • Prepare pitch materials, including detailed corporate finance analysis

  • Support the marketing and execution of range of products including bonds, loans, leases, FX, rates and treasury solutions

  • Help to coordinate client engagement globally, and across full product suite

  • Ensure a confident knowledge of our clients, the industries in which they operate and how the bank helps support their strategic and day to day needs

  • Work with our credit and risk partners as it relates to our client engagements

  • Partner with Investment Banking teams on client coverage and origination

What we are looking for:

  • Strong inter-personal skills, with ability to build client and internal relationships

  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness

  • Ambitious, with a desire to succeed

  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Solid corporate finance and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking product set and the UK client base (including midcap space) helpful
