Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cooling systems (e.g., HVAC equipment, chillers, cooling towers), fire and safety systems, pumps, tanks, piping.
Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and HVAC systems.
Ability to work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in mechanical maintenance of critical facilities (e.g., data centers, pharma/medical/electrical installations) including maintenance of UPS systems, generators, and associated devices.
Experience investigating failures and performing data analysis.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, including Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers or commercial HVAC units.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, procedures, and equipment.
Ability to work non-standard hours and differing rotations/shifts.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to perform maintenance or projects on the systems.
