Responsibilities:

• Security, performance, and availability assessment of Fortinet Cloud services
• Monitor services, and infrastructures using various monitoring tools
• Develop, maintain and execute tools, and scripts to provide automation and self-service solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Servers, Kubernetes, and Network issues
• Maintaining and Upgrade existing applications and infrastructure
• Optimize service on the infrastructure level and cloud service level

Experience and skills:

• Over 3 years of professional experience as SRE/DevOps/Systems Engineers
• TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, Loadbalance and packet sniffers
• Hands on experience with administration on Linux, docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, helm
• Experience with different virtualization environments including VMware & OpenStack
• Open-source automation tools (Gitlab, Jekins, Ansible, Terraform)
• Scripting and Programming languages (Bash, Python)
• Hands on experience on databases (Mysql, MongoDB, Postgresql, Redis)
• Knowledge of monitoring network/server system: Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana etc
• Log analysis, tracing and monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Argo, Jeager, and Kiali

Personal attributes:

• Highly motivated, positive, responsible and able to work in a mission critical on-call environment
• Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues
• Excellent language skills in English - oral and written

Bonus experience:

• Experience with Fortinet cloud product
• CKA or CKS certificate
• Other certifications of Cloud platform and networking

Educational Requirement:

• Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $81,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
