Job Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain advanced DevOps solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Design and implement complex automation systems using object-oriented programming languages to streamline DevOps processes, enhance operational efficiency, and facilitate seamless software deployment and infrastructure management.
• Develop and improve our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring seamless development cycles and high-quality software releases.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools, with a strong emphasis on Ansible, to automate and streamline our operational workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of cloud and on-premises environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operational teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Skills Required:
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role
• Proficient in object-oriented programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C++) with a strong emphasis on developing automation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their deployment and management in production environments.
• Expertise in Jenkins or GitLab pipeline for CI/CD pipeline construction and management.
• Proficient in using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Bash).
• Experience with APIs and Web services, including REST
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a history of successful cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Haves:
• Hands-on experience with private cloud technologies, specifically VMware and OpenStack, and managing bare metal environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki) in various environments.

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $99,000 - $140,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
