Key Responsibilities
• Assisting clients with the actuarial valuation of their pension plans and other employee benefits under IFRS & USGAAP
• Assisting our audit teams with the review of pension provisions of our (multi)national audit clients coverings IAS19, ASC715, etc
• Assisting our audit teams with the review of the technical provisions for (Pan-European) pension funds
• Assisting in due diligence during respect to pension topics
• Assisting clients with various consulting projects such as IFRS/USGAAP conversions, GAP analysis, regulatory watch, etc
Skills and Attributes for Success
• A master degree in actuarial sciences
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, working as a pension actuary within an insurance company or a consultancy firm
• A solid technical knowledge of IAS19 & Belgian pension legislation
• An understanding of economic/market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clients
• A strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient level of business English
• A global mindset and the drive to work in international teams
