Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Intern could include:
- Work alongside Sales professionals and technical subject matter experts to build proposals, manage projects and bring value to clients
- Support internal IBM teams on business analysis activities, marketing initiatives and building and implementing programs
- Work in squads with subject matter experts, using Agile methodology to complete projects in sprints
- Collaborate with the broader IBM Sales Ecosystem and IBM Business Partners
6 months, full-time based in our Auckland office.
To be eligible to apply, Intern applicants must meet the following requirements:
- You are a New Zealand or Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
- You are in your final year of study, completing a technical degree (i.e., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) at a New Zealand or Australian University. You will be enrolled in University for the duration of your internship.
- You will have strong communication and presentation skills, that are equally engaging, compelling, and influential.
- You are able to work a minimum of 4 days a week (Monday to Friday).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- You have a genuine interest, or experience, in the Automation or AI software industries
- Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently, or as part of a team
- Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
- Technical knowledge or Sales experience
