Be a part of ECS Capacity Team managing over 5600+ Global Customers Cloud Infrastructure requirements.
Support ECS to achieve target customer count year on year, and with low Total Cost of Ownership.
Maintain customer infrastructure requirements accurately in demand planning tools, and with at most transparency.
Follow defined processes, identify the need to continuously improve the same. Maintain and enhance documentation.
Address customer requests (on tickets or emails) in a very timely manner. Understand customer requirements, contractual eligibility, and confirm capacity or redirect to follow defined processes.
Cross team co-ordination:
Work with Global Delivery Office to review infra capacity situation and plan Customer sytem delivery date/s.
Work with Build & Service Request handling team to enable full filling of customer deliverables.
Work with Decom team, Incident Team to track and follow up any pending or long running decommission.
Support development teams with tool implementation and integration.
Work with public cloud capacity team to ensure capacity availability for ECS customers.
Skills:
Excellent working knowledge in MS Excel & MS Outlook. Hands on experience in any reporting tool will be an added advantage.
Excellent verbal, written communication (English), analytical, presentation and co-ordination skills.
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure is required – compute servers, storage, networking, datacenter.
Basic understanding of any of the following - Baremetal servers, VMWare, Kernel-based Virtual Machine will be an added advantage.
Basic understanding of any public clouds such as Azure, AWS, IBM or Google Cloud will be an added advantage.
