In this role you will:

• work closely with product owners, developers, and other designers to create user-centric and AI-powered solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
• guide the product direction from a design perspective and contribute to SAP design system.
• be involved in all phases of the design-led-development process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
• have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other UX experts across SAP.
• Engage with end users and customers to understand their needs and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
• Demonstrate and validate main user flows in interactive prototypes and run fast learning cycles to improve these concepts.
• Clearly communicate design decisions and research findings to different audiences such as engineers, managers or customers.
• Staying updated with the latest in AI advancements, user experience trends, and tools, and adapting designs to meet evolving user needs and technological capabilities.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or other related fields.
• 3-5years of professional experience in application or system design for software solutions, as well as a track record of shipping high quality software products.
• You should be proficient with one of the industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Mural, Sketch, etc.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori design system and guidelines.
• Preferred, experienced in user research methodologies including generative and evaluative methods and how to apply user research at different stages of the product development cycle.
• Excellent skills in visualizing and communicating your concepts and ideas.
• Experiences with AI and preferred Joule. Familiarity with the Joule platform, understanding its capabilities, and knowing how to leverage its features to enhance the user experience.
• Willingness to continuously broaden your horizon on design methodologies, technologies, upcoming trends, and business scenarios.
• Team player with very good communication skills.
• Fluency both written and spoken in German and English.
