Role and Responsibilities

- Quality assurance "end user" testing on live networks

- Field tests Engineer, such as radio / audio performance tests and software verification on mobile devices (including GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE, IMS, 5G testing and Mobile Intelligent terminals, smartphones, tablets and laptops) and accessories (e.g. headset, hands-free and GPS, wearable devices)

- Interoperability testing with network operators and SIM Card manufacturers

- Provide informed feedback on interface usability and phone design concept

- You'll work closely with QA and R&D Engineers in the UK, Poland, India, Vietnam & Korea to:
- Discuss and provide information about defects and other issues that arise as a part of testing
- Interpret technical reports
- Analyse network log
- Consider possible impact on market

- Manage test project schedule

- Contribute to regular progress and final project reports

- Keep abreast of new features and techniques of the mobile devices and network

- Create test cases based on local test environment

- Validate Voice-activated Artificial Intelligence features

- Automation

Skills and Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English & native Spanish Language
• Capable of making decisions, working independently and organising own workload
• High self-motivation and ability to work alone, setting sensible priorities, working to tight deadlines, managing conflicting priorities
• A good level of presentation, communication and planning skills
• Approachable, flexible, team orientated and self-assertive where required
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Strong PC skills (especially MS Office Excel)
• A good understanding of documentation requirements
• Excellent knowledge in GSM-UMTS-LTE-5G Networks and applications infrastructure (recommended, not mandatory)
• Engineering background in telecommunications field will be an advantage.

• Strong log analytical skills (recommended, not mandatory)
• Python language for automation (recommended, not mandatory)
• Previous experience in mobile field testing and experience in IMS testing such as RCS, VoLTE and 5G are preferred
• Experience with European telecom operators is preferred
