Responsibilities:
You will be owning and driving product functionality as SME and represent it in global product team. In the role of System Test Engineer, you would be responsible for –
Work as a Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product to the stakeholders.

• Create/Update the test environment and code, execute Manual and automated test scenarios and environments.
• Work with the development and system tests team to ensure product quality, usability, and serviceability.
• Experience in continuous delivery and test practices
• Engineer is required to fully verify functions/components for a product/system to ensure it operates properly and meets the design specifications.
• Work as a System Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product to the stakeholders.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the IBM Software Defined Storage product.

You will work with the senior technical leaders and manager in effectively managing the deliverables through his technical skills and prior experience.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6-15 years of industry experience in System testing, Designing and developing of Cloud Automation and Test Automation Frameworks
• Proven experience of creating Test validation strategy, System Test Planning and System test execution in Storage domain.
• Proven knowledge of Automation development process & tools for product development/debugging using Python,API and UI automation.
• Design, build and execute automated tests to validate applications using Python based frameworks.
• Knowledge on automation tools such PYtest Framework (Python) will be an advantage.
• Proven knowledge on functional and system QA validation of Storage technology.
• Hands-on experience working in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Containers
• Experience with designing and validating container solutions with Kubernetes, Docker, or Openshift
• Advance knowledge of and experience with RHEL OS, system configuration, and administration.
• Adept at problem solving and debugging complex code stacks
• Good communication skills and ability to work autonomous
• Experience in network optimization and debug container-based environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working on Test Eng / Agile Methodology
• Experience working with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience in GitHub Pull Request development workflow.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (IBM, AWS, Google, Azure)
• Experience with Agile Software Development Experience.
• Familiarity with storage concept.
