Position overview

As the Social Media Coordinator at EY, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing both organic and paid social media activities. You will be responsible for building, monitoring, optimising and reporting on organic and paid social media campaigns, and providing guidance to teams based on best practices and performance analysis. You will monitor EY social accounts, and maintain effective working relationships with peers. This role requires social media expertise, reporting and analysis skills, and keeping updated with industry trends.

Your key responsibilities

  • Implementation of social media approach
  • Daily coordination and management of all Oceania social media accounts (LinkedIn and Instagram), including publishing posts, monitoring comments and coordinating replies.
  • Streamline administration and management of organic content pipeline, being the owner of the EY Oceania Editorial Calendar.
  • Use Sprinklr to publish, report and build dashboards to draw insights.
  • Provide social media performance reporting, including analytics, commentary and recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with EY Global Social Media Guidance and able to advise stakeholders of requirements.
  • Connection with APAC and Global Social Media teams, including participation in regular meetings and training sessions, and sharing information on upcoming campaigns and raising any issues.
  • Schedule, monitor and report on Haiilo posts and user activity.
  • Stay across and share with the team platform (LinkedIn, Instagram) and systems (Spkinklr, Haiilo) updates where relevant.
  • Advise teams on innovative strategies and tactics for achieving their objectives through organic and paid social media, based on global best practices and local performance insights.
  • Generate monthly organic content performance reports, pull out most important learnings and upload to Sharepoint for the teams to access.
  • Generate organic content performance reports for various campaigns as per campaign team requests.
  • Build paid campaigns (audiences, ads, retargeting audiences), launch, monitor, optimise, and advise the campaign teams of proposed changes to their campaigns, campaign progress and performance.
  • Paid campaign reporting upon campaign completion, apply benchmarks and provide a top-level analysis, explanation of performance and future campaign recomendations.
  • Review and provide recommendations and feedback on copy and assets.
  • Work with the global team and GDS colleagues to constantly upskill, exchange experience on posting, campaign building and reporting.
  • Invoice processing.
  • BRIDGE, SCORE etc submissions.
  • Undertake any other social media tasks as required to support the overall social media strategy and goals.


Skills and attributes for success

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Hands on experience in working directly in social media platforms and associated management systems e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Sprinklr.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends, and metrics.
  • Strong digital media execution skills, advanced proficiency in Sprinklr, Haiilo, LinkedIn campaign manager.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from large volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings in a straightforward manner.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, and collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset, commitment to constant growth and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Preferred but non-essential experience:
  • Relevant certifications in social media, digital marketing.
  • Experience within marketing insights, research, or digital environments.
  • Prior experience in B2B digital marketing settings.
  • Experience working with a global brand requirements.
