How you’ll spend your day

• Assist in the design, planning, and execution of research projects focused on antibody generation.
• Prepare samples and conduct experiments using techniques such as surface plasmon resonance, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
• Expression and screening of antibodies
• General tissue culture and maintenance of mammalian cell lines
• General molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR, DNA purification and analysis, DNA cloning)
• Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, publications, and presentations.
• Stay current with the latest scientific advancements and techniques in antibody generation and immunology.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Your experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with honours.
• Experience with recombinant protein expression, purification, and quality assessment.
• Experience in antibody generation and characterization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and software for data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
