Your work scope:

• Development, simulation, design and approval of small/precision engineering components, assemblies and products as part of the development of electrical actuation systems from the idea to the start of production

• Analysis of specifications and customer requirements, deriving internal specifications, making tolerance and risk assessments

• Calculations and simulations (e.g. tolerance analyzes, FEM) to ensure functionality while taking product and manufacturing costs into account

• Support and maintenance of our products in mass production (> 1 million pieces p.a.): Implementation of change requests from our customers, cooperation with the development laboratory for component and product qualification, coordination with the production plants during implementation of changes and new items

• Independent and responsible work with suppliers and development partners

• Analysis and realization of VAVE activities including the project management with communication to suppliers, customers, production locations and top management

Your profile and experience:

• University degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, mechatronics, mechanical design, or similar course of studies or technician with professional experience

• Experience in similar role butfresh graduates are also welcome

• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks and SolidEdge, including the creation of 3D parts, assemblies and associated drawings / PLM systems

• Experience with simulation tools, ideally Teamcenter

• Fluent English and German language skills

• Ideally experience in mass production related component and product development, their transfer to production as well as the release of products, especially stamping components from progressive tools and multi-cavity plastic parts, including a basic understanding of tool structure and component manufacturing
