Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

·Lead all phases of primary and secondary market research activities including needs identification, project design, survey design, stimuli creation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and managing external vendors. Translate insights into simple and actionable recommendations through generation of analysis plans, report development and presentation of research findings

·Lead market insight support for launch planning of assigned IAI indications to inform strategy and tactic development in collaboration with Product Strategy, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Commercial Operations team members through application of robust qualitative and quantitative methodologies

·Establish and manage all tracking studies, KPIs and routine performance tracking for dermatology indications (ie. ATU, Chart Audit, Message Recall, data purchases, report definition, etc)

·Generate and communicate value added customer and market insights to optimize the commercial strategy for IAI conditions.

·Collect, analyze, and synthesize market information from diverse sources to provide insight on Brand and Market Performance.

·Work in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Finance and Commercial Operations colleagues to effectively identify key business questions, identify appropriate research needed and manage delivery of the overall research plan.

·Lead the design and implementation of primary and secondary market research activities, qualitative and quantitative and ensure appropriate compliance and legal requirements are incorporated and reviews completed in a timely manner.

·Manage all vendors for research on customer perceptions and usage patterns, market priorities, message development, and other key activities.

·Create and maintain network of market research vendors.

·Cut cost/improves quality of market research to maintain optimal mix of internal resources and external vendors Ability to lead multiple projects and processes within a growing organization.

·Maintain in-house acquired knowledge and develops rich interpretation of research findings.

·Effectively and independently prioritizes and manages requests in line with business priorities in a fast paced and changing environment

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

·Bachelor’s Degree required.

·8+ years’ experience in market research/analytics role in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry.

·Ability to conduct primary (ie. ATUs, Chart Audits, Message Recall and Testing, etc.) and secondary market research (Prescription, Sales, EMRs, Claims Data etc) studies.

·Strong analytical capability and critical thinking skills.

·Proven ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and decision makers and work cross functionally and manage internal working relationships.

·Excellent oral and written communication skills, with presentation experience to all management levels

·Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.

·Ideal candidate has broad experience with insight and analytics from a Marketing, Sales and Market Access Insight perspective.

·Familiarity with data sources for monitoring Sales and Marketing performance with products in IAI

·IAI and Dermatology market knowledge and experience preferred.

·Experience with smaller/niche markets preferred.

·Experience with prescription data (e.g., IQVIA & Symphony claims) preferred

·Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (ie.PowerBI, etc) preferred.

·Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
