Vision and Strategy Development:

  • Create and communicate a comprehensive vision for marketing analytics that aligns with business objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap for implementing and leveraging analytics use cases within the organization.

Marketing Analytics Agenda and Capability Building:

  • Lead the development and execution of the corporate-level marketing analytics agenda.
  • Develop and enhance marketing analytics capabilities across key areas, including Market & Customer Assessment, Pricing & Commercial Strategy, Product & Launch Performance, and Marketing Campaign Execution & Effectiveness, by leveraging advanced data analytics and insights to drive strategic decision-making and optimize overall marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address skill gaps, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Support BU Marketing teams in developing their analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy.

Data Governance and Management:

  • Act as the marketing functional representative on the data governance council.
  • Ensure that all necessary data for Corporate Marketing and BU Marketing teams is clean, well-integrated, and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Establish and maintain a roadmap for central data needs, working closely with IT and data scientist/engineering teams to ensure high data fidelity.

Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain a high-level understanding of BU analytics agendas and needs.
  • Engage with BU Vice Presidents and Analytics leaders to coordinate and support their initiatives effectively.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by sharing best practices and promoting continuous learning across the organization.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead a team of 15 members, offering strategic guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics insights and recommendations
  • Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent and enables a high-performance culture.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing with an Analytics focus or concentration, or an equivalent discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics & insights in a large highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience building marketing analytics capabilities.
  • Previous experience at an Associate Director level or higher.
  • People leadership experience - defining roles and responsibilities, mentoring, and leading a diverse team in a highly matrixed organization with the ability to influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing with an Analytics focus or concentration, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Proficiency with programming languages (SQL, R, Python), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power Bi).
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing analytics, including experience with healthcare-related claims data and visualization techniques.
  • Experience driving the integration of analytics into decision-making processes across a marketing organization.
  • Ability to contextualize data within the broader business environment and provide insights that drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders, develop comprehensive project plans, mobilize teams, and deliver necessary outputs on time.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and present data insights clearly and compellingly to non-technical stakeholders.
