Supported by Account Managers, contribute to the development of annual strategic plan by providing the Regional Sales Managers, National Sales Manager and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
Support the Regional Sales Managers in understanding account’s unmet needs and expectations to facilitate account strategy and plans development.
Support medical personnel and field staff during procedures after careful training
Be the competent contact person and consultant for the medical management and medical staff
Identify, manage and report to the Regional Sales Managers the sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supports Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
Provide education support.
Maintains market share at Boston Scientific accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
Attend and actively participate in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings.
Based on clinical support, support sales team in gathering information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
Develop and implement a proactive plan that involves service support, with Regional Sales Manager and team members, to increase the quality of service to customers.
Perform procedural training, provide clinical support and therapy development and consequently manage clinical evaluation, with Account Managers support, to deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations and ultimately secure Boston Scientific market share.
Record customer information and activities in Company’s CRM system as an alignment tool with other roles
Perform periodic update with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organization.
What are we looking for in you:
A proactive candidate with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a clinical or sales role within the healthcare sector – experience within urology departments will be considered a plus.
High and fluent English level (B2 level or higher).
Previous experience in operating rooms is a preferable requirement for the position.
Technical Insights: Product & Service knowledge
Business Planning skills: contribution to sales planning, account strategy and business development.
External Network & Relationship Management, together with good communication and interpersonal skills to ensure internal collaboration.
Sales Execution: influencing techniques, knowledge of processes both for tender management, as well as for deal making and negotiation.
Flexibility and adaptability in order to be able to work in a highly dynamic position: travelling within the designated geographic area will be required.
