This position could be located in NY (primary), VA, NC, IL.
Recognizing the changing and fast-paced professional landscape, you will work with our clients to better align their operating infrastructures within their business strategies. You will support client teams and engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the role and effectiveness of the finance and operations function. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in Technology, Strategy and Risk to execute on our latest solutions to not only improve operational efficiencies, but to enhance the changing role of the CFO as an indispensable partner tasked with providing better business insights, profitability and performance measurement.
Your key responsibilities
- Support client engagement teams at a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and participate in business development activities on strategic and global priority financial services accounts.
- Serve in an execution role to deliver our latest solutions and capabilities including improved and automated financial close and consolidation related processes.
- Advise clients on a variety of financial close and consolidation related business process issues that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:
- Financial close, consolidation and controllership activities
- Intercompany elimination processes
- FX revaluation and FX management
- Transfer pricing allocations
- Chart of accounts design
- Subledger processes e.g., A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting
- GAAP vs IFRS and localization accounting processes
- Secondary ledger designs
- SEC and localized regulatory reporting of financial statements
- Reporting processes
- SOX and control models
- Reconciliation processes related to the financial close and controllership activities
- Financial close and consolidation operating models
- Financial close and consolidation technologies
- Participate in engagement management and execution as well as client relationship building and management
Qualifications and requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the above-mentioned domains of the finance function and financial close
- 9+ years professional consulting experience in the required domains
- Ability to manage large teams on complex transformation projects
- Experience in business development activities (proposal writing, client presentations, contracting) and developing client relationships
- Expert project management skills, including risk management of large projects
- Ability to develop talent and build effective teams
- Successful completion of multiple large-scale transformation program across the domains required above within Financial Services
- Independent working, ability to self-manage and ambitious nature
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and design future state processes, data and technology across the domains required
- University degree required, masters degree optional
- CPA optional, transformation and consulting experience required
- Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $148,900 to $340,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $178,700 to $386,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
