Job responsibilities:

  • Leads UX efforts within a cross-functional team, including strategic Influence on product direction, planning, participating in delivery, presenting effectively to stakeholders up to executive level.

  • Collaborates with senior leaders and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.

  • Leads a team of designers, championing best practices in process and methodology to deliver against business KPIs and customer needs.

  • Coaches the usage of an established design system, style guides, patterns and assets in the creation of UXdeliverables.

  • Manages workflow, intake, and design resourcing effectively, responding to business needs and priorities.

  • Finds and develops world class design talent and is effective in coaching and growing designers.

  • Actively contributes to the wider design community, leveraging strengths to help others develop and learn, while fostering a culture of innovation and creativity within the design organization.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 in management, and a substantial focus on fintech and/or digital commerce.

  • Bachelors or Master Degree in the study of design including one of the following; Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors, or equivalent project/portfolio experience.

  • A portfolio of work, showcasing significant contributions in delivering strategic business outcomes, and a high bar for design excellence.

  • Extensive leadership and strategic planning experience. Deep expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and design thinking.

  • Proven track record of managing large, complex design projects.

  • Advanced proficiency with design tools and methodologies.

  • Thorough knowledge of essential channels and platforms, with experience in mobile, dedicated, web and native solution design.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and managing design in an agile environment.
