  • Domain experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth and Asset Management
  • Strong technology project management background with experience in enterprise change and technology management, data, infrastructure, or related software platforms
  • Experience in building strong teams with a solid understanding of technology program and project management agile delivery management and IT change
  • Lead, manage, and motivate diverse teams of professionals with different backgrounds

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance, Project/Business Management, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8+ years of post-bachelor's work experience (or 6+ years for Master’s degree)
  • Minimum of 4 years in relevant work experience at a financial services company (banking, wealth management or insurance) or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services on IT infrastructure
  • Experience with successfully managing projects with defined deliverables and budgets. Experience must include budgeting and managing the schedule; client relationship management; communicating strategically around key issues; conflict resolution and consensus building
  • Thorough understanding of complex information systems and technology organizations
  • Experience in communicating through written reports and presentations, using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio
  • Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team; manage communications with the project sponsors, and manage the delivery of an engagement workstream
  • Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance and management discipline
  • Experience in scheduling and delivering implementations that include multiple components with tight interdependencies and governance between these components
  • Large scale, portfolio, program and project management experience, demonstrating acumen in core project management process areas such as scheduling, budgeting, resource and quality management
  • Experience in managing the technical direction of a project from initiation and requirements through design, build, testing, and implementation using frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Scrum@Scale (SaS), Waterfall PMBOK or Prince2 ServiceNow, and Strategic Portfolio Management tool (SPM)
  • Experience in at least 6 of the following Technical Competencies:
    • IT Transformation / Complex Program Management
    • E2E Enterprise System Implementations and Change Management
    • Program / Transformation Governance and Management
    • Software Technical Delivery
    • Agile Transformation and Coaching
    • Business and IT Alignment
    • Program / Portfolio Architecture
    • IT Systems Integration and Separation
    • IT Service / Delivery Management, including Shared Services
    • IT Cost Optimization, Budget / Financial Management and Enterprise Resource Management

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, product management, systems development life cycles
  • Experience using tools such as, Rally, Jira, Jira Align, ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management tool (SPM), MS Power Platform, Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Relevant industry certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified SAFe Program Consultants (SPCs), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), Certified Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), Lean Six Sigma (Any)

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,100 to $267,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
