As a UX Designer in our Digital Engineering practice, you will be responsible for shaping intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for digital products delivered to clients across diverse industries. Working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, you will bring together user research, design strategy, and interaction design to create solutions that are both functional and engaging. This role requires a strong design mindset, collaborative spirit, and attention to detail.
Your Key Responsibilities
- User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Design Strategy: Develop user experience strategies that align with business objectives and user expectations.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs accordingly.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field
- 4–6 years of UX/UI design experience, with exposure to enterprise or public-facing digital solutions
- Certification in UX is a plus
- Experience in agile delivery environments
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
- Ability to conduct and apply user research and usability testing
- Strong command of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JS is a bonus)
Domain/Industry Advantage:
- Experience designing solutions for financial services, government platforms, or energy dashboards
- Awareness of user diversity in public sector applications
Soft Skills:
- Strong user empathy and a user-first mindset
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Clear and persuasive communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to iterate quickly and accept feedback constructively
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Remain updated with the latest design trends and UX methodologies.
- Should be able to work on and create user interface design systems
