The Role:
As an integral member of our Actuarial team, you’ll provide support on engagements and projects for a variety of our clients. You may be involved in tasks including:
- Working with a range of stakeholders across a diverse range of projects, including business transformation, health and human services analytics, capital and risk management, pricing, product innovation and Appointed Actuary work;
- Help clients to gain fresh insights to quantify their risk and improve their performance;
- Lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams, valuing and interpreting other subject matter expertise to build new and practical solutions for our clients;
- Interpret results from analysis to bring to light the issues that truly matter;
- Develop relationships across various sectors to work with partners for the betterment of our communities.

Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interestedin your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- A degree in actuarial studies, mathematics, data analytics, science or similar, and/or or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., FNZSA, FIAA, CFA);
- Proven experience in actuary, risk, internal audit, data analytics, or similar, within a corporate or consultancy;
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, and are comfortable working with data;
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and translate technical jargon for a wider audience;
- Exhibit attention to detail, with an ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communicational and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to lead and mentor junior members of our team.
