This team drives compliance with global regulations, including the Digital Services Act and privacy regulations.

It is also responsible for execution of compliance frameworks and oversight, including developing processes for ensuring our products and services meet requirements for Privacy, Audit, Digital Safety, Responsible AI, and other relevant controls.

This team implements organization-wide processes for incorporating compliance into the product development cycle and engineering systems.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experiencecreating andmaintainingcompliance programsand conducting privacy reviews.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing privacy, security, or auditcompliance related engineering programs.
  • IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is preferred.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Responsibilities
  • adoptionof new and emerging regulations to ensure Microsoft AI products and services meet global requirements and businessobjectives.
  • Create and execute compliance plans, working across compliance, organization, business, and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Identify, drive adoption of, oversee, andmonitorthe implementation of new and existing controls as needed for compliance or new regulations.
  • in compliance-related project management duties related to either improving existing controls or remediating control weaknesses/gaps.
  • Develop andmaintainstandards and policies, such asrisk assessment templates, audit frameworks, oversight expectations, and reporting metrics.
  • regulationsinto actionable requirements.Advise engineering and business stakeholders toimplement privacy requirements such as user consents, data collection requirements, recommending data storage and processing, and ensuring Microsoft AI products and services meet privacy requirements and businessobjectives.
