Key Responsibilities
Strategic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Recruitment Initiatives
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement innovative DEI recruiting strategies that focus on attracting diverse talent from underrepresented groups.
- Design and execute DEI-focused recruitment and networking events.
- Continuously work on diversifying EY's talent pipeline.
- Consult with Talent Attraction and Acquisition team to enable and equip recruiters and hiring managers with the tools to attract diverse talent.
Indigenous Talent Attraction
- Build and execute strategies focused on attracting Indigenous talent.
- Engage with Indigenous communities to build relationships and attend Indigenous-focused recruitment events.
- Identify and maintain relationships with Indigenous organizations/friendship centers to develop relationships nationally
Networking and Collaboration
- Attend external relevant networking events.
- Collaborate with EY professional networks.
- Maintain the database that houses the information around strategic alliances
Reporting and Accountability:
- Develop metrics to measure the success of DEI initiatives and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance recruitment practices and foster a more inclusive workplace.
- Create a forum of knowledge sharing to drive awareness and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the talent teams to consolidate and report on various DEI recruiting efforts.
Skills and attributes for success
- A minimum of 2-4 years related job experience in working/engaging with Indigenous communities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels.
- Experience and skills in managing difficult conversations and dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in training and development, with the ability to curate learning materials for group presentations and facilitate virtual or in-class workshops.
- Demonstrate project and change management skills and be able to manage several projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Previous experience recruiting Indigenous talent.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $62,800 to $94,200. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
