Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript
• • or Python OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience.
• Experience in shipping high quality microservices based products.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Rust programming language.
• Familiarity with IoT messaging protocols like MQTT.
• Experience with customer support and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand the product landscape and requirements of features.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure services optimized for Kubernetes at the edge.
• Write code that is well structured, extensible, and maintainable. You will implement test automation to ensure robustness of the product.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed, and consider diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability when reviewing code, and understand when code is ready to be shared or delivered.
