We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative
Upper Manhattan, NY, you’ll be part of a unique renovation construction projects for a large healthcare facility. The projects involve a 900,000sf brick façade renovation along with window replacement, and roof replacement, roof top MEP equipment replacement, interior renovations and abatement work along with a new 10,000sf research laboratory renovation. The facility covers a 150,000sf and is one of two buildings. Other projects involving a second, on-campus healthcare and research building involve a second façade restoration and hospital floor bathroom renovations.

As the Construction Senior Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on developing and communicating the project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against that work plan, and be able to perform a detailed comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades. You’ll provide direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. You’ll perform daily inspections and reporting. Review submittals for completeness. Your ability to coordinate onsite work schedules with the client’s staff and manage multiple projects at a time will be critical to your success. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.

Here's what you'll need

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of larger scale building/rehabilitation projects

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience shall be as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi contract building projects

• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against the work plan, and perform a details comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades

• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required

Are you willing and able to work Monday-Friday at the projectsite location off 169th and Broadway

• OSHA 30 or ability to be obtained within 30 days of start date

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering preferred
