Job Description

he primary goal of this role is to increase market share and stimulate market growth for our companion animal portfolio by building long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices in the designated geographical area
  • Understand the needs and requirements of veterinary practices and provide them with tailored solutions from our companion animal portfolio
  • Achieve regional sales targets in line with the overall business unit strategy
  • Identify new business opportunities and work towards expanding market share
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to develop competitive strategies and recommendations
  • Effectively manage and prioritise accounts and activities to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Continuously update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using our CRM system

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the veterinary market in the South Wales region
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the designated region
