Job Description


In this field-based role, you will be responsible for leading the customer relationships with veterinary practices for our Animal Health business in North Cumbria & West of Scotland. You will lead accounts using your sales expertise and managing veterinary, digital and remote support to deliverlong term sustainable and profitable relationships.The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with customers to deliver sales against regional targets, to increase market share and drive market growth.Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and deliver sales against target
  • Uncover customer needs, identify opportunities and develop recommendations
  • Identify and target customers using data insights and understanding of customers
  • Collaborate with veterinary practices to drive business growth and establish strong partnerships
  • Cultivate relationships and networks driving business development
  • Create and deliver joint customer project plans to support product usage
  • Deliver on KPIs on call cycle planning and updating and maintenance of customer records
  • Effective management of internal relationships to provide the optimal level of service for your customersQualifications:
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent time management, project management and organisational skills
  • Must live within the defined territory

Knowledge of the veterinary and animal health industry would be advantageous but not essential. Experience in the human pharma or medical devices sectors would be appropriate.
