IT Advisor, Technology Consulting - Data & Analytics (Big Data) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1503343), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA.Assist client engagement teams delivering professional services and help manage business development activities by developing and applying analytics to solve business problems. Design, build and maintain scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich and analyse data from multiple sources. Design, architect, and develop solutions leveraging big data technology (Open Source, AWS, or Microsoft) to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements. Provide clients with a unique business perspective on how Big Data analytics can transform and improve their entire organization. Unify, enrich, and analyze customer data to derive insights and opportunities. Leverage in-house data platforms as needed, and recommend and build new data platforms or solutions as required to exceed business requirements. Apply a data driven approach (KPIs) in tying technology solutions to specific business outcomes.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 4 years of industry and/or consulting experience in Analytics.

Must have 4 years of experience with Big Data technologies in one or more of the following ecosystems:
- Open Source (including Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, Streaming, Atlas, Sqoop, HIVE, Cassandra, Mongo, and/or Kafka);
- Microsoft (including Azure, HDInsight, Azure DocumentDB, and/or SQL Server); or
- AWS (including AWS, EMR, and/or Redshift)

Must have 3 years of experience providing advisory services with a strategic focus in helping clients achieve transformational value through the use of data and/or analytics solutions.

Must have 3 years of experience coding in one or a combination of Java, C#, C++, Scala, Python, R, and/or SQL.

Must have 3 years of experience organizing, aggregating, querying, and analyzing large data sets.
