- Coordinating project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects
- Defining and executing competitive bidding strategy
- Specifying equipment performance and design criteria
- Maintaining effective communication with project team, staff, and project owners
- Establishing accountability through understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet codes, guidelines, and standards
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience with automated assembly and packaging, webline, extrusion, material handling, and inspection equipment
- Prior experience with facilities mechanical or electrical equipment
- Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Prior experience in manufacturing or plant engineering position
