The Risk Chief Administrative Office (CAO) provides support to the Independent Risk organization with a focus on governance, control effectiveness, regulatory engagement, risk communications, financial performance including resource management.

The Role:The Business Management Office is seeking an Expense SeniorLeadto be responsible for Independent Risk's Service Catalogue management as well as ad hoc analyses that are complementary to the regular Expenses and Analysis processes within the area. The Expense Senior Lead role will also work closely with finance partners based in Mumbai and across IRM locations during the planning and forecasting cycles. The role would require knowledge regarding Third-Party Management Standards, Intra-Citi Service Agreements and reporting and planning tools such APS, BAW, DSMT used by the Risk Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design of the Service Catalogue for IRM and lead the maintenance of the catalogue as well as related ICSAs

  • Support financial results insights for different areas within Citi’s Chief Risk Officer

  • Maintain and update expense cost analysis to support location strategy initiatives

  • Support Headcount Annual / QMMF Planning process by working with NY Business Office team and Finance partners in Mumbai.

  • Provide Weekly and Monthly Cognos Issue support.

  • Develop material for internal senior leadership.

  • The right candidate should have the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and can act as SME/guide to other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 10+ years or relevant experience in financial services industry

  • Experience in financial services preferred.

  • Knowledge regarding Third-Party Management Standards, Intra-Citi Service Agreements

  • Proven track record managing key deliverables with high senior management visibility on time and through strong partnerships across different businesses and functions.

  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills with prior experience interfacing with Citi Senior Management at the Director and Managing Director level.

  • Methodical and proactive thinker who is also detail oriented with demonstrated project management skills and the ability to execute across IRM teams with high quality and strict timetables.

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management/ mining.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven time and task management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and promptly.

  • Ability to influence and challenge senior management with data and strategic thinking.

  • Strong analytical ability
