Key areas of responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer with a specialization in MBSE your key area of responsibilities include:

• Overall technical leadership and responsible for realization of full- or sub-systems product(pre)development/release/lifecycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
• Contributing to implementing MBSE in the Grooming&Beauty organization by supporting in developing and utilizing the required tool landscape and interfaces, ways of working and supporting project teams in engineering their systems.
• Technical leadership in developing solutions for creating and reusing system models or elements thereof of platforms, products and modules.
• Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, integration and verification.
• System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to HW/SW element and part level and related traceability.
• Leading system model reviews.
• Explore new propositions related to Shaving, Grooming and Beauty to expand our product portfolio towards connected and personalized solutions.
• Creation and capturing/archiving of relevant SEknowledge.
• Supporting continuous improvement of the way of working in the System Engineering group through exploration and implementation of new technologies, ways of working and tools.
• You lead and influence others, drive design for quality and you are closely involved in the program of the applicable business.

You will be part of the System Engineering team that consists of 20 enthusiastic Systems engineers and Systems architects. We have an inclusive and open work environment and display a strong focus on delivering to projects as well as transforming our ways of working to stay ahead of competition. You will report into the System Engineering Group Leader.

Functional competencies and know-how

• Strong proven systems engineering competencies incl. a deep understanding of the full V-model, requirements engineering, system decomposition, configuration and modeling (MBSE), system verification, industrialization.
• Has an in-depth technical understanding of the Grooming and Beauty product portfolio
• Has an in-depth understanding of the development and industrialization processes involved in creating a Grooming&Beauty proposition

Position Requirements:

Experience required: >5 yrs

Education level required: University MSc, BSc, University of Applied Sciences MSc, BSc

Educational background: Systems Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or similar

Other requirements: experienced in MBSE/SysML, customer-focused attitude, team player
