As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.
Tasks:
Definition of system architectures for complete ADAS/AD systems from sensors to actuators including stack modelling & compute allocations
Design reusable & scalable system architectures that scale from entry to premium tiers and can be deployed to various customer applications
Ensure completeness and consistency of system architecture artifacts
Define release expectations towards internal and external system element deliveries (e.g. stack development)
Coordinate OEM adaptation needs on system architecture elements together with Tier1/OEMs
Support customer engagement during project execution and business hunting activities for any system needs
(Preferred) Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
Strong experience in ADAS / AD systems including sensors, stacks & vehicle networks
Experience in ADAS/AD compute platforms and in conducting architectural trade-offs
Experience in system level modelling
Ability to challenge existing paradigms, identify gaps and compile solutions
Strong communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
