As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Tasks:

• Definition of system architectures for complete ADAS/AD systems from sensors to actuators including stack modelling & compute allocations

• Design reusable & scalable system architectures that scale from entry to premium tiers and can be deployed to various customer applications

• Ensure completeness and consistency of system architecture artifacts

• Define release expectations towards internal and external system element deliveries (e.g. stack development)

• Coordinate OEM adaptation needs on system architecture elements together with Tier1/OEMs

• Support customer engagement during project execution and business hunting activities for any system needs

(Preferred) Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

• Strong experience in ADAS / AD systems including sensors, stacks & vehicle networks

• Experience in ADAS/AD compute platforms and in conducting architectural trade-offs

• Experience in system level modelling

• Ability to challenge existing paradigms, identify gaps and compile solutions

• Strong communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
