Provide leadership in managing outsourced Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) supplier to ensure safety and maximum building uptime of mechanical HVAC, utility, fire life safety, exhaust, waste water treatment, process piping, and controls systems
Oversee IFM performance of scheduled, routine operations, maintenance, repairs, and planning of facilities systems and equipment.
Respond to business interruptions or internal customer escalations that may involve a wide range of complex systems problems, and guide IFM on corrective or repair measures to restore normal operations and service levels safely, and in a timely manner.
Review operation, maintenance, trouble shooting, project commissioning & acceptance related documents for facilities systems; recommend and implement improvements
Maintain existing standards across all operational processes, and establish new standards as required to support the organization. Serves as technical expert on specialized projects or programs
Evaluate facilities system capacities and capabilities
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects to expand or improve operations, including development of key suppliers. Review and approve facility systems, fit-up and tool hook-up designs.
Functional Knowledge
Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function (i.e. Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Projects Planning and Management, Budget Planning and Management, etc.)
Identify and conceptually scope safety, compliance, capacity, redundancy, and cost savings projects
Knowledge of local Fire, Building, and Environmental codes
Obtain funding and manage facilities projects per scope, schedule & budget
Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, SCADA (e.g. GE Cimplicity), and CMMS (e.g.IBM Maximo)

Qualifications :
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
7+ year’s experience as an Engineer, with some combination of facility design experience and facilities engineering experience in semiconductor or similar industry preferred
Experience with contract management and negotiation
