Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in micro-LED displays with a focus on optics.
Experience with optical design software, including raytracing (e.g., LightTools, Zemax, or equivalent), and full wave solvers (e.g., Lumerical FDTD, or equivalent).
Experience with optical testing for spectral, spatial and angular output display characterization (e.g., CCD colorimeters, photometers, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
PhD in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with emphasis on semiconductor optoelectronics or photonics.
Experience designing and optimizing microLED devices for efficiency, color and angular output performance targets.
Experience in consumer electronics product development, including design for manufacturing and reliability.
Experience in display optical design, with experience applied in AR microdisplay projectors and microLED displays.
Understanding of Augmented Reality display optical systems, microdisplays (microLED, microOLED, LCoS), image quality metrics and display optical calibration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
