This role is for a Category Lead under the Global Corporate Procurement team. The focus will be on Contingent Workforce Management, Employee Benefits, and HR Services. The responsibilities include coordinating and optimizing procurement and management of these categories. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, vendor management expertise, and a deep understanding of contingent workforce dynamics, employee benefits, and HR service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Guide internal partners on procurement strategies and maintain procurement ethics following KLA's global policies.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with the overall business goals.

  • Find opportunitiesfor cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced service delivery within the Contingent Workforce Management, Employee Benefits, and HR Services categories.

  • Evaluate, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable contracts and terms.

  • Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Conduct regular vendor assessments and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work closely with internal partners, including HR, Finance, Legal, and business units, to understand their needs and align category management strategies accordingly.

  • Consistently develop and recommend reasonable, data-driven, business-building ideas and encourage using customer and market insights to advise business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, SHRM-CP, CCWP) is a plus

  • Previous experience leading a contingent labor program

  • Previous experience in category management of HR services and employee benefits.

  • Experienced in crafting and completing HR and employee benefits contracts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and related work experience of 8 years' OR Master's Degree and related work experience of 6 years'

  • Solid experience in category management, procurement, or vendor management, focusing on contingent workforce, employee benefits, and HR services.

  • In depth understanding of services Procurement, Sourcing, and contingent workforce within the staffing/recruitment industry (SOW)

  • Knowledge of VMS systems such as Beeline, Fieldglass, Vndly, or Coupa is required.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and industry standard processes.

  • Excellent communication and social skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
