The Salesforce Core Account Executive acts as the primary orchestrator of Salesforce resources, collaborating with specialized sales teams across Tableau, MuleSoft, Slack, Service, and Digital solutions. This role involves managing the overall sales strategy, identifying customer needs, and aligning the right Salesforce products to drive business value.
Day to Day
Selling either the entire Customer 360 Platform or a specific cloud across a set of Salesforce customers
They do this by...
Having a deep understanding of the way businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level
Creating demand by uncovering business problems and matching them across Salesforce’s full portfolio
Uncovering business initiatives and pain points to map back our solutions across multiple lines of business
Building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions
Maintain and update pipeline forecasts, ensuring accurate monthly projections.
Selling on value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
Generating pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
Partnering with internal resources and external partners in order to drive additional value and expertise
Preferred Qualifications
Sales experience, preferably in enterprise software or SaaS.
Experience managing a list of 20 accounts, 100% existing customers and 50/90 prospects.
Experience selling to the C-suite.
Ability to build and deliver presentations to your customers
Knowledge of Salesforce solutions (Tableau, MuleSoft, Slack, Service, Digital) is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.
Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas with a strong focus on forecasting accuracy.
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
