Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Own preparation for internal communications and executive presentations, program management of key initiatives including employee engagement, and special projects as assigned to support AT&T’s major compliance and remediation programs.
Drive current platform resilience, application support especially for PCI and FirstNet, application security log alarming and database security log alarming compliance and onboarding for the AT&T technology organization.
Responsible for cybersecurity areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T, our customers and vendors/partners, and future proof our security log alarming platforms.
Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects.
Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.
Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&Ts cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams.
Responsible for managing, tuning and maintaining our applications and databases security log alarming platforms including the tools and process used to support these programs.
Owner of the end-to-end Apps and DB onboarding architectures and managing the onboarding pipeline and delivery numbers.
Providing thought leadership and direction on program improvements & optimizations.
System upgrade planning and execution. Ensuring compliance with AT&T ASPS, CCRC, ASTRA, VMS, Archer.
Support and guide team members that include Splunk Administrators, Architects, Knowledge Managers, Developers and Analysts for increasing Splunk adoption and overall success.
Qualifications:
Preferred BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems
8-10 years of total technical experience.
5+ years of experience with Splunk administration in an enterprise environment
3+ years of Splunk architecture and troubleshooting experience
5+ years of Application and Platform Architecture; Software Development Lifecycle
3+ years of experience and expertise in UNIX configurations
3+ years of Applications and Databases Onboarding Skillset
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of working Azure and AWS configuration management
Preferred General information security knowledge (CISSP, Splunk certifications, other Cybersecurity certifications)
This position requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in one of the listed locations (Middletown or Bedminster, NJ or Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA). No relocation assistance is provided.
Our Principal Cybersecurity, earns between$158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
