- Own continuous competitive and market‑intelligence programs; translate insights into positioning updates and win-sheets.
- Establish OKRs, dashboards, and experiment frameworks; communicate results and iterate rapidly.
Product Marketing Leadership- Own narrative, positioning, and launch playbooks for new features—PYUSD on‑ramps/off‑ramps, cross‑border payouts, merchant acceptance, on‑chain rewards, etc.
- Commission and synthesize consumer research to validate product‑market fit and surface insights for roadmap prioritization.
- Develop sales‑enablement toolkits, pitch decks, and partner collateral that help BD/account teams close wallet andstablecoin‑acceptancedeals.
Integrated Campaigns & Lifecycle- Lead 360° programs spanning paid media, CRM/lifecycle, PR, influencer, content, and community that drive habituation and loyalty.
- Build a high‑throughput content engine (blog, video, podcasts, social) that positions PayPal & Venmo as trusted voices in digital assets.
- Foster vibrant owned communities (Discord, Telegram, X) to drive education, advocacy, and rapid feedback loops; monitor sentiment and surface insights to product teams.
- Inform SEO/SEM strategy, website conversion funnels, and on‑page education that reduce first‑transact friction in partnership with web teams.
Partnerships & Ecosystem- Evaluate and activate partnerships (exchanges, L2s, NFT platforms, creator platforms) that extend distribution or utility.

- Become go-to PayPal/Venmo spokesperson at industry events and with key press/influencers.
Team & Operations- Grow and mentor a high‑caliber team of product marketers, growth strategists, and content/community specialists.
- Manage external agencies and vendors for creative, media, and community.
- Serve as marketing’s point‑person with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure every message meets evolving crypto regulations and local disclosures.
- Run an accountable operating cadence—scorecards, test‑and‑learn loops—aligned with Finance and Risk.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:- 10–15+ years marketing experience, with 5+ years in crypto, Web3, or fintech at scale (consumer or B2B2C).
- Proven record launching and scaling digital‑asset products—from first‑trade to utility use‑cases (stablecoins, staking, remittances, custody, etc.).
- Deep understanding of the regulatory and risk landscape (BitLicense, MiCA, FATF Travel Rule, stablecoin bills) and how it shapes compliant marketing.
- Data‑driven operator comfortable owning a nine‑figure budget and tying spend to CAC, LTV, and contribution margin.
