The successful candidate will work within the ITS business in Jersey to ensure that fiduciary services are delivered in a manner consistent with all legal, regulatory and internal requirements. The candidate will administer the end-to-end execution of specific functions in support of trusts and corporate administration. These functions include, but are not limited to, investment subscription and redemption support, payments, corporate administration, trust and corporate entity closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with Trust Officers in the preparation and execution of relevant documents related to the various aspects of trust administration; including account opening forms for the opening of internal and external bank and investment accounts, processing all required documentation including Letters of Direction, Minutes, Power of Attorney, Resolutions and subscription documents.
  • Process transactions for the structure including distributions, credit facilities, liquidations and transfers, including the preparation of entries in the trust administration system.
  • Collaborating with the respective client facing teams, including Client Advisors and Wealth Advisors, to ensure timely and accurate communication with settlors, beneficiaries and professional advisors.
  • Liaise with the new business approval team for the onboarding of new structures.
  • Liaise with the bank’s operations team with regards to the opening of bank accounts.
  • Liaise with the trust accounting team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements for the trust structures.
  • Ensure proper communication to accounting and fee billing on account activities.
  • Assisting in the performance of fiduciary reviews and other compliance and risk management tasks to ensure that the structures are administered in accordance with regulatory and group requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of client meetings and other projects and duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Knowledge of trust law and legal/regulatory requirements affecting international fiduciary locations
  • A third level degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications; adaptive to new systems and technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years’ fiduciary experience
