As a Strategy Associate on The Community and Business Development Strategy team, you will support building approaches for services and products that meet the Financial Health needs of our key underserved and underrepresented segments while working with our Community Managers to deploy these solutions nationally. You will be responsible for leadings efforts to build relationships and ensure financial education and product solutions are available within all of the communities we serve.

Job responsibilities

  • Support JP Morgan Chase’s $30B Racial Equity Commitment work by building strategy for 150+ Community Managers
  • Recommend solution options (“how”) to deliver on strategic opportunity (“what”) for our financial health strategy, focused on the Lower Mass and Upper Mass segments
  • Build documents and material for discussions with senior leaders to gain buy-in on strategy and roadmap, provide clarity on tactics and desired outcomes, and share updates on progress
  • Develop market level analytics to set targets and identify opportunity across our Community Manager footprint
  • Partner across functions, including finance, marketing, product, legal, compliance, controls and communications to identify downstream impacts and inter-dependencies to successfully deliver a best-in-class client and banker experience
  • Support the development and execution of small to large scale pilots in order to asses viability of customer solutions and ultimately scale to business functions

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 3+ years in strategy, project management & overall business management strongly preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills are essential. Must be able to think outside the box to implement creative solutions that solve business problems.
  • Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
  • Executive presence via strong presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commitment and interest in advancing financial health imperatives with our communities
  • Cross collaboration relationship management skills
  • Must have experience working and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strategy and translating into defined roadmaps with clear milestones
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • You must have the ability to think strategically, work independently, influence leadership, work with the field facing functions, and use analytics to inform decisions
